Ruth Bible Study

ART DIRECTION ||. VISUAL CONCEPTUALIZATION  ||  DESIGN EXECUTION

For our Ruth Bible Study, written by our Women’s Coordinator, the theme was “Redeemer,” reflecting how Boaz was Ruth and Naomi’s kinsman redeemer, just as Jesus is ours. I drew inspiration from the Japanese Deutzia flowers, which symbolize “rebirth” and “new beginnings,” perfectly aligning with Ruth’s story of a new beginning. The Deutzia flower became a central design element throughout the study and promotional materials. We created a study book and a journal, with the journal featuring the flower illustration stamped on the cover and gold glitter outlining the flower. These items were given to the women who attended the study.
